In October 2021, one pair of jeans entered the official 3sixteen × r/rawdenim 120xk fade contest — a year-long competition to fade a single pair as beautifully as possible.
Twelve months later, it took 1st place.
The Journey
About
INF MAP is a year-long photograph of a single pair of jeans. In October 2021, a pair of 3Sixteen NT-120xk Shadow Kibata — cut from a heavyweight black Japanese kibata denim — entered the official 3sixteen × r/rawdenim 120xk fade contest.
Each month, the progress was photographed: 185 frames tracking the denim from pitch black to whiskers, honeycombs, and stacks.
In October 2022, after twelve months of wear, the journey took 1st place in the 3sixteen fade contest.
